Individual distinctions in Lexology Index and Chambers & Partners confirm his experience and effectiveness in resolving complex disputes.
Commercial and civil disputes are at the center of his practice, where he helps clients minimize risk and work out favorable solutions – both in the courtroom and during negotiations or mediation. He represents parties in complex international proceedings and also sits on panels as arbitrator and secretary of the tribunal. He has experience in proceedings under almost all arbitration rules in Poland and a number of major arbitration rules, including the ICC International Court of Arbitration, SCC Arbitration Institute, FAI, UNCITRAL, as well as ad hoc arbitration. Included in the lists of recommended arbitrators of arbitration courts in Poland, Armenia and Serbia. Co-created the new arbitration rules of the Leviathan Arbitration Court, where he sits on the Arbitration Committee. Represents parties and adjudicates cases in a wide range of sectors, including M&A, construction, automotive, banking, life sciences, insurance, railroads and rail vehicles, real estate, retail and telecommunication.
In addition to dispute resolution, he assists clients with real estate law issues ranging from sales and lease transactions, through investment processes, to administrative, judicial and administrative court proceedings, including reprivatization disputes. He also conducts internal investigations, audits and advises on asset tracing & asset recovery.
A doctor of jurisprudence (UJ, 2021) and defended his dissertation “Adjudication of Arbitral Jurisdiction” with honors. He completed the LL.M. Program, also with honors. (University of Vienna and City University of Hong Kong), as well as the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for CEE and the SCC Diploma Course. A member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. Regularly publishes articles and speaks at industry conferences.
Gives lectures on arbitration law and civil procedure, as well as training in international arbitration and the art of advocacy. As a coach for the Jagiellonian University team in the Vis Moot competition and a mentor within the Moot Alumni Association and the Institute of Transnational Arbitration, he actively supports the development of young lawyers.
